Dear Colleagues,
 
As you may be aware, UC Davis is in the process of seeking reaffirmation of its undergraduate education accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission, commonly referred to as WASC. UC Davis has been fully accredited since 1954. Campus accreditation is reviewed for reaffirmation every 10 years by WASC.
 
The UC Davis WASC Steering Committee, charged with leading the reaffirmation effort, is engaging with colleges, schools, and departments, as well as other units, to share details about the process and solicit contributions to the narrative report, the required data exhibits, and related evidence. This information will help inform a site visit by the WASC Visiting Team, which will be on campus October 30 through November 1, 2024. 
 
You can learn more about the campus’s reaffirmation efforts at wasc.ucdavis.edu, where you can watch the WASC accreditation presentation. You can submit questions and feedback on the WASC website, and campus units can request in-person presentations.
